What we do
Radiation therapy utilizes the therapeutic difference in radiation sensitivity between malignant tumors and normal tissues. By delivering targeted ionizing radiation, malignant cells are eliminated or shrunk, while surrounding normal tissues are preserved and able to recover.
Our department works in close interdisciplinary partnership with all clinical oncology and surgical departments across the hospital to provide specialized radiation therapy plans.
