With a full suite of on-campus conveniences—including dining, laundry, retail, and relaxation spaces—we aim to support your everyday needs so you can focus entirely on your recovery.

Language & Communication Support
Our International Patient Service Advocates support communication between you and your medical team throughout your stay.
- We coordinate directly with your physician, nurses, pharmacist, and billing staff to facilitate smooth and clear communication regarding your care.
- Medical documents and certificates can be provided in English on request.
Patient Safety & Care
Kameda Medical Center prioritizes your safety and comfort. We implement comprehensive safety measures to support your well-being and ensure high-quality care during your admission.
Patient Identification
- For your security, we ask that you wear an identification wristband throughout your admission.
- Our clinical staff will verify your identity using two identifiers (such as your name and date of birth) prior to clinical interventions, medication administration, or diagnostic procedures.
Medication Management
- Your medications during your stay are carefully managed by our clinical pharmacy and nursing teams.
- To help us provide the safest care, please share information about any personal medications, dietary supplements, and herbal remedies with your attending physician upon admission.
Fall Prevention
- To help prevent falls, we recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip, closed-heel footwear (such as sneakers) within the facility.
- Please feel free to use the nurse call system if you need assistance moving around, particularly during the night or following procedures.
Infection Control
- We kindly ask for your cooperation with our masking policy within the hospital premises.
- Hand sanitization stations are available throughout the wards for the use of patients and visitors.
- Please let your care team know if you experience any new symptoms such as fever or respiratory discomfort.
Daily Life in the Ward
Meals
- Served at 8:30 / 12:30 / 18:00.
- All inpatient meals are therapeutic meals prepared by the Department of Clinical Nutrition.
- Please inform staff in advance of any food allergies, religious, or cultural dietary requirements (e.g., halal, vegetarian, kosher). We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- Please check with your nurse before eating outside food, as it may affect your treatment plan.
- Premium Dining Option (K Tower 12F patients): With your physician's permission, room service from Restaurant Kirakutei (13F) can be arranged via the 12F Customer Service desk.
Bathing
The bathing method (shower, full bath, or assisted bath) is determined by your physician based on your condition. Please follow your nurse's guidance.
Accompaniment
In principle, an accompanying family member is not required. In K Tower only, a family member may stay overnight at the patient's request.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all patient rooms.

Television
TV usage rules differ by ward. Please use earphones and keep the volume considerate of other patients.
Mobile Phones
- Mobile phones may be used in permitted areas on silent or vibrate mode.
- Please avoid use near certain medical equipment to prevent interference.
- To protect the privacy of all patients, please ask staff before taking any photos or videos inside the hospital.
Smoking & Alcohol
- The entire hospital campus is completely smoke-free, including e-cigarettes and heated tobacco.
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted during your stay.
Clinical Updates
- Your care team will conduct regular rounds to discuss your progress and treatment plan.
- We encourage you to ask questions; you may request further explanations or a second opinion at any time.
- If you would like your family to be present during medical consultations, please let your care team know in advance.
Privacy & Confidentiality
- Your medical information is handled with care and used appropriately for your treatment and hospital administration.
- We respect your privacy and will not disclose your admission status to external inquiries without your permission.
- Please let us know who is authorized to receive updates regarding your condition.
Outings & Leave of Absence
Temporary outings or overnight leaves require permission from your attending physician. Please consult your physician or nurse in advance if you wish to leave the hospital temporarily.
Hospital Facilities & Services
A wide range of services is available on campus to make your stay more comfortable, including restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, laundry facilities, and relaxation salons.

Belongings & Valuables
- Please manage your own cash and valuables. The hospital is not responsible for loss or theft.
- We recommend not bringing expensive jewelry or large amounts of cash.
- A Chiba Kogyo Bank ATM is available on site (K Tower 1F), and the 1F accounting window accepts J-Debit and major international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners, Discover, UnionPay).
- Please utilize the secure storage in your room rather than placing items under your pillow or in unsecured locations.
