Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

What we do

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) covers a broad clinical scope, addressing disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and neck (including thyroid and salivary gland conditions), as well as dizziness and balance disorders. (Surgical oncology and tumors of these areas are managed under Head & Neck Surgery).

Because this field directly impacts fundamental human functions—such as eating, speaking, and hearing—our primary goal is to protect and restore our patients' overall quality of life (QoL).

Diagnostic & Treatment Approach

We aim for accurate diagnoses through comprehensive clinical evaluations and advanced diagnostic modalities, including endoscopies, imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound), audiometry (hearing tests), equilibrium/balance testing, and blood tests.

Treatment strategies are tailored by considering not only the disease itself, but also the patient’s lifestyle, age, personal preferences, and individual needs.

Surgical Care & Facilities

Inpatient Surgery: Major surgical procedures are routinely performed at Kameda General Hospital with inpatient admission.

Outpatient Day Surgery: Minor procedures with low risks of postoperative complications—such as Laser Therapy for Allergic Rhinitis—are conveniently performed as day surgeries at Kameda Clinic.
