Cardiovascular
What we do
Our department conducts cardiac surgery and vascular surgery with an emphasis on safety and quality of life. Patients have also come from the Tokyo metropolitan area and have received medical treatment with a high degree of satisfaction. Doctors, nurses, and clinical engineers also live close to the hospital, and it is basically possible to provide the best treatment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
【Characteristic】
The feature of our department is that it fully incorporates the medical care of the United States, attaches great importance to specialty, and provides safe and reliable diagnosis and treatment. Typical surgical treatments performed in our department are as follows.
1. Coronary artery bypass surgery for angina and myocardial infarction should be performed using only the patient's own artery with consideration of the long-term prognosis, and many surgeries for heartbeat should be perfomed in the consideration of the impact of patients.
2. For valvular disease, we give priority to quality of life, and after surgery, we try to perform it without taking medications and not to limit life as much as possible. In the case of artificial valve replacement, sufficient explanation is given and the most suitable artificial valve for the patient should be selected.
3. We are also actively performing surgical treatment for arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, and we are trying to do it simultaneously with surgery for valvular disease so that you do not need to take postoperative anticoagulants.
4. Surgery for aortic aneurysm, which causes extremely high mortality if it ruptures.
