Who to take this course?
Anyone diagnosed with arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions, or ventricular tachycardia). If you have symptoms (skipped heart beats, rapid heartbeat or pounding in the chest, chest tightness, or dizziness or lightheadedness) due to your arrhythmias, you will benefit from this course. If you would like to reduce the future risk of heart failure, valvular heart disease, stroke, or dementia which can be caused by your arrhythmia, discuss with us and consider taking this course.
What is unique about this course?
We can perform your catheter ablation under general anesthesia (atrial arrhythmias and ventricular tachycardia) or sedation (premature ventricular contractions or supraventricular tachycardia) supported by specialized anesthesiologist, which can provide the safest and most effective ablation environment. For patients’ comfort, we use a venous closure system to minimize bedrest time after ablation.
Notice
Please inform us of your arrhythmia condition and diagnosis. If your kidney function by blood test is not satisfactory for contrast usage, CT scan with contrast will be switched to CT scan without contrast, and you will have transesophageal echocardiography for the evaluation of thrombus.
