Kameda Medical Center International Patient Services provides comprehensive, end-to-end support for international patients—from pre-arrival planning through post-discharge follow-up.

1-1. Pre-Arrival Support

1-2. Arrival & Transportation

  • Airport Transfer: Pickup/drop-off between Narita/Haneda Airport and Kameda Medical Center (Kamogawa)
  • Public Transport Guidance: Train and highway bus access information
  • On-Site Reception: Our International Patient Services staff will guide you from the entrance to your department or ward

1-3. During Your Stay

  • Medical Interpretation
    • Languages: English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and others
    • In-person, telephone, and video interpretation available

2. In Case of Emergency

Kameda Medical Center maintains a comprehensive Emergency Plan. In the event of a disaster, please follow the instructions below.

Basic Principles

  • Wait in your room until you receive instructions from staff.
  • Listen carefully to all in-hospital announcements.
  • Follow staff instructions—do not act alone.

Common Japanese Phrases Staff May Use

Watashi ni tsuite kite kudasai Please follow me.
Hitori de koudou shinaide kudasai Please do not act alone.
Hansou wo tetsudatte kudasai Please help with transportation.

3. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I receive medical care in English?
Yes. Medical interpretation services (English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.) are available, and many of our physicians and nurses are English-speaking.
Do you accept overseas private insurance (GOP)?
Yes. We are affiliated with major international insurers (Cigna, Allianz, AXA, etc.). Please refer to "Outpatient Guide for Overseas Private Insurance & GOP."
Can family members stay overnight in the room?
This depends on the room type. Private and suite rooms allow overnight stays for companions. See No.13 "Preparation & Room Types" for details.
Q4. Are dietary and religious accommodations available?
Halal, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly meals can be arranged. Please notify us in advance.
